QIDI TPU-Aero
TPU-Aero is a medium-hard, reactive foaming flexible material developed specifically for FFF printing technology. By controlling the printing temperature, different foaming ratios can be achieved, thereby achieving different weight and hardness effects. Combined with excellent elasticity, wear resistance and lightweight properties, it can be used in sports equipment, industrial parts, aerospace prototypes and creative design.

Lightweight and excellent interlayer adhesion
TPU-Aero is more than 50% lighter than traditional TPU materials, has excellent interlayer adhesion, and the weight of the material can be controlled by adjusting the printing temperature. It is particularly suitable for weight-sensitive application scenarios such as sports equipment, aerospace, etc.

Adjustable weight and hardness
By adjusting the temperature, flow ratio or filling density, the hardness can be precisely controlled to achieve interesting different printing effects

High resilience, high toughness
TPU-Aero has excellent deformation recovery ability, which is suitable for parts that need to be deformed repeatedly. It has strong tear and impact resistance and is not easy to break under extreme stress.

Matte Finish, Fabric Texture
Premium fabric-like texture meets engineering-grade performance,Stimulate your creative imagination

Low water absorption
It can maintain stable performance in water or humid environment and will not expand/deform due to water absorption

Printing Tips
- TPU materials are prone to moisture absorption when exposed to air. It is recommended to put TPU-Aero filaments in a drying oven (humidity controlled below 15%) immediately after opening the vacuum foil packaging. Unused filaments should be resealed in the original foil packaging.
- For TPU-Aero filaments that are exposed to air for a long time, it is recommended to put the filaments in a 70-80°C oven for 4-6 hours before printing to avoid problems such as bubbles, holes or drawing caused by moisture.
- Due to the continuous expansion of the foaming material in the hot end cavity, leakage is inevitable during the stroke movement. Even adjusting the retraction distance and speed cannot improve this situation. It is recommended to disable the retraction function in the slicing software, print only one model at a time, or use the piece-by-piece printing function, and turn on the option to avoid crossing the outer wall to reduce drawing and leakage caused by long-distance idling and jumping.
- Some of PEI textured or PEI film build plates may exhibit excessive adhesion to TPU materials, making printed parts difficult to remove. It is recommended to use alcohol to remove the parts.

Vacuum Aluminum Foil Packaging
According to the test, the water vapor transmission rate of ordinary sealed packaging is 4.76%, while the water vapor transmission rate of vacuum aluminum foil packaging we use is only 0.014%. It can be seen that vacuum aluminum foil packaging is more water-resistant.
